Teams Beta
One inbox for your team.
Everyone answers from the same support address. Your customer sees who wrote back, and nobody answers twice.
What your customer sees
A real name, at the address they wrote to. When they reply, it comes back to the shared inbox.

SubjectRe: Invoice address change
Hi Raj, done: new invoices go to the Austin office.
Ana
"Ana Ruiz" is her name as she wrote it in her Profile. "Acme" is your company name from Settings › Brand. Your teammates see this line under the reply box before they send.
How sharing works
- Invite by email. Your teammate joins with a link and lands in the same inbox, with the same history.
- Everyone sees who's on a thread. Click "I'm on it" to take ownership, or keep moving it forward without claiming it. If someone replied after you opened a thread, Send waits and gives you your text back, so nobody answers twice.
- Notes stay inside. Notes, flags and who's on a thread never reach the customer.
- Mine. One folder for the threads you're on.
Who's on a thread
When you take a thread, your initials show next to it. This tells everyone who has it, so nobody duplicates work.
- I'm on it: Click the button and you own it. Your initials appear on the thread and its row in the list.
- Moving it forward claims it, but only if nobody owns it. Reply, snooze, close or reopen a thread with no owner and it becomes yours. A thread your teammate owns stays theirs.
- Notes, flags and Mark unread never claim a thread. These are signals to other teammates, not ownership.
- Claiming is a signal, not a lock. Anyone can still reply, and anyone can take over a thread that needs them.
- Two teammates click at once: exactly one gets it. The other sees "Ana took this a moment ago."
- Release: Give your thread back to nobody. When you remove a teammate, their threads go back to nobody, so the next person who acts takes them.
Who can do what
The owner, whoever signed up, invites and removes people. They also manage the brand, billing, integrations and agents, and the support address, and they're the only one who can export or delete the account.
Everyone answers, writes notes, flags and snoozes, and keeps the spam rules, templates and guides up to date.
