Stripe
Stripe customers on top of your support inbox.
Plan, lifetime value and payments next to every email. SuppyHQ only reads.
Your support inbox doesn't know who paid you. Stripe does. Without both side by side, every email starts with a search: who is this, what plan, did their last payment go through.
SuppyHQ reads that from Stripe and puts it next to the email, so the paying customer stands out before you open anything.
What lands in your support@, sorted

On top · Can't wait
-
Charged twice this month
A Stripe customer with a billing problem.
Lead
-
Do you offer annual billing?
Someone Stripe doesn't know yet: a Lead.
Everything else
-
How do I change my billing email?
Waits its turn. Your last answer is ready.
Junk
-
Reduce your payment fees
A stranger's cold pitch.
-
Partnership opportunity
A first email from someone selling, not buying.
How SuppyHQ sorts it
Junk. Cold pitches, SEO offers and "partnership" emails from strangers go to Junk before you see them. Only a stranger's first email is held back, and only when SuppyHQ is sure. When in doubt, the email stays in your inbox.
On top. A refund, an upset customer, or someone leaving or locked out goes on top, under Can't wait, and emails you right away. A customer whose payment is failing goes on top too when they write. Connect Stripe or Polar and the customer's plan sits next to the email.
Lead. A real question from someone Stripe or Polar doesn't know yet gets a Lead badge. Junk is never a lead.
Everything else waits its turn, oldest first. SuppyHQ never replies for you.
A restricted key, with Read access
SuppyHQ only accepts a restricted key (rk_). In Stripe you create one and give it Read access. A secret key (sk_) is rejected. SuppyHQ never charges or refunds.
Stripe and Polar keys are encrypted where they are stored. The security page lists what SuppyHQ can and cannot do with them.
What shows next to the email
The customer's plan, lifetime value, subscription state and payment timeline, plus their past conversations. Mark your best customers VIP and they sort first.
Everyone Stripe doesn't know gets a Lead badge, so the question before a sale doesn't hide among support.
Questions
- Can SuppyHQ charge or refund my customers?
- No. SuppyHQ only reads from Stripe: plans, purchases and payments, shown next to each email. It never charges or refunds.
- What if I use Polar instead?
- Polar works the same way, with a token you give Read access. See Polar customers on top.
